General Laborer

JOB DUTIES:

We are looking for a General Laborer to join our growing team!

• Preparing surfaces and installing traffic membranes and coatings
• Preparing worksites for and performing concrete repairs (including pouring, grinding, smoothing, cutting)
• Working with materials such as: epoxies, mortars, caulking, concrete, sealants
• Possibly working from heights on a swing stage and/or scaffolding, fall arrest will be required
• Unload and carry materials to and from worksites
• General labour, as required, clean worksite of debris
• Working in a safe manner using CSA approved PPE
• Work with Office staff when needed

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working on relevant caulking, coatings, and concrete projects and using equipment is required
• Fall arrest and confined space training an asset but can be provided
• Must work well with hands and be comfortable working from heights
• Collaborating in a team environment while following instructions and safety rules is important
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Good understanding of the English language both written and spoken
• HSE, First Aid, Fall Arrest, Confined Space Certificates an asset. WHMIS is required.
• Working phone with a data plan is required
